Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with strong P&C Insurance experience to lead complex, cross-functional technology and data initiatives within the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing end-to-end technology projects, coordinating multiple teams and workstreams, and working closely with business and technical stakeholders. Strong knowledge of P&C Insurance, Underwriting, Claims, and insurance data is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technical and data-driven projects within the P&C Insurance domain.
- Manage multiple teams, workstreams, timelines, dependencies, risks, and project deliverables.
- Partner with business, product, engineering, data, and technology teams to define project objectives and delivery plans.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Facilitate project planning, status meetings, steering committee updates, and stakeholder communications.
- Ensure projects remain aligned with business objectives, timelines, and quality expectations.
- Identify and proactively resolve delivery risks, blockers, and cross-team dependencies.
- Drive Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies based on project requirements.
- Track project progress using tools such as Jira, MS Project, Rally, or similar platforms.
- Provide regular executive-level reporting and communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Ensure effective collaboration between technical and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Project/Technical Project Management.
- Mandatory: Strong hands-on experience working within the P&C Insurance industry.
- Strong understanding of P&C Insurance processes and data.
- Knowledge of Underwriting and Claims processes is required.
- Experience managing technology, data, or digital transformation projects.
- Strong experience managing multiple teams and concurrent workstreams.
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, MS Project, Rally, or similar project management tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and business teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience leading large-scale P&C data, analytics, or technology transformation initiatives.
- Experience working with insurance platforms, data modernization, or enterprise technology programs.
