Our fully remote client is seeking a Snowflake Architect to lead the design, architecture, and evolution of a modern data platform. This role will partner closely with scientists, chemists, data scientists, and IT stakeholders to architect scalable data solutions that enable drug discovery, molecular modeling, toxicity analysis, and other research initiatives.

Position Description:
 

• Serve as the lead architect for Snowflake-based data platforms supporting scientific research and drug discovery initiatives.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective Snowflake architectures and data products.
• Define enterprise data modeling standards and architectural patterns for research and discovery data.
• Lead the migration and integration of molecular design, toxicity, and scientific datasets into Snowflake.
• Support two additional initiatives leveraging the same data and stakeholder groups, including toxicity modeling and pharmaceutical research/connectivity data efforts.
• Evaluate existing data architectures and patterns, recommend new approaches, and drive adoption of modern frameworks and best practices.
• Architect and automate data feeds to downstream systems using Snowflake, Agentic AI, and related technologies.
• Leverage Snowflake Cortex, Agent Framework, and Agentic AI capabilities to automate workflows and enable intelligent data experiences.
• Partner with chemists, scientists, data engineers, and business stakeholders to translate complex scientific requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Establish data governance, security, and performance optimization strategies across the Snowflake ecosystem.
• Provide architectural leadership for CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and deployment processes.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance on Snowflake, data modeling, and modern data architecture best practices.
• Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to improve data accessibility, usability, and business value across research and discovery organizations.
